Personnel can also choose to rent or buy off base in an apartment, or single family home. Temporary lodging reservations can be made at the Key West Navy Lodge. If space is not available at the Navy Lodge, you can check into the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites. Affordable options are available utilizing military housing allowances.
The commissary makes grocery shopping convenient and is located on Sigsbee Road. There is also an ATM located inside the commissary. The Navy Exchange, also on Sigsbee Road, has a barber shop, mini mart, and a gas station. Shopping at the commissary offers convenience and savings, providing military members and dependents the benefits of discounted goods and services.
