Residents of Picerne Military Housing should have received notice that their housing company name will soon change. Starting in April and expecting to take a year to change over, the new company name will be Corvias Military Housing.
Picerne is a division of the Corvias Group. In July of 2012, Corvias moved to re-brand Picerne. During this time, Corvias started a student housing division called Corvias Campus Living. By changing the name of Picerne, Corvias can strengthen their brand name and recognizable housing quality.
For the most part, nothing. Your contract will remain the same along with the same rules and guidelines. Residents should expect to see signs and other Picerne branding to slowly change over the next six months. Current management and maintenance staff should stay the same along with current community features.
Picerne had also started the Green program. Under this program, residents are responsible for their energy usage at home. While electric is covered under the BAH, wasteful usage of energy is not with this program. Residents who exceed the average energy usage will be required to pay extra fees, residents who fall below average may receive money back. At most Picerne locations, the program was in its’ starting stages and may have stopped. Residents should expect this program to start again with Corvias.
For now the Picerne website is up and running, the website address still reflects Picerne. Expect in the future to be redirected to the new Corvias Military Housing page. You may also still sign housing agreements with the Picerne name brand. Corvias will service these bases:
